Cayman Airways Fleet to be Modernized

Published by

Cayman Islands is one of the easiest Caribbean destinations to reach, due to excellent airlift from major USA and international destinations, and a domestic airline that helps keep fares competitive.

The domestic carrier, Cayman Airways, offers nonstop flights to Miami, Tampa, Chicago, Washington DC, Dallas and New York City in the USA.  Internationally, the airline flies to Cuba, Jamaica and Honduras.

To remain competitive, Cayman Airways will modernize its fleet of planes by adding a next generation 737-800 plane by November 2016, and then adding more of these aircraft to the fleet between 2018 and 2020.

Other airlines that fly to Cayman Islands include American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, United, British Airways, Air Canada and West Jet.
